strategise / growth mindset in times of change

Change comes in many forms: merger, cuts, reorganisation or rapid growth. Each brings disruption, and with it the risk of teams falling into fixed patterns: resisting new approaches, avoiding risk or assuming what worked before will work again.

This training programme helps teams replace fixed-mindset behaviours with growth-driven ones. Using the GC Index Team View and growth mindset principles, we support teams to see change as an opportunity to learn, test, adapt and improve. The result is a team that embraces challenge, iterates quickly and stays strategically aligned, whether resources are shrinking or expanding.

    • To embed growth mindset principles into team strategy and collaboration: seeing effort, feedback and setbacks as pathways to improvement

    • To use the GC Index to reveal the team’s natural energy and how it can be channelled towards new priorities

    • To replace fixed-mindset behaviours (protecting turf, fearing mistakes) with growth-driven behaviours (curiosity, experimentation, constructive challenge)

    • To create a shared strategic direction that balances ambition with adaptability

    • To build habits that sustain alignment and learning beyond the immediate period of change

    • A team that approaches change with curiosity rather than defensiveness

    • Greater willingness to test ideas, learn from results and refine quickly

    • Improved alignment around strategy, with clarity on how everyone contributes

    • A culture where feedback is welcomed and effort is valued as part of progress

    • A practical action plan rooted in experimentation and iteration, not rigid control

  • Step 1 – GC Index Team View
Profiles mapped into a visual Team Impact View, showing how the team naturally contributes and where it may need to stretch or adapt.

Step 2 – Full-Day Workshop: Strategy with a Growth Lens
The team explores how fixed vs growth mindsets show up under pressure, applies GC Index insights and creates strategic priorities built on experimentation and learning.

    Step 3 – Monthly Drop-Ins
1-hour virtual sessions where the team works on live challenges, deliberately practising growth mindset behaviours (testing, iterating, giving and receiving feedback).

    Step 4 – Half-Day Consolidation
Three months later, a structured session to review progress, reflect on learning, and reset priorities with the same growth-driven approach.
