innovate / AI-ready teams: from curiosity to reliable workflow

This programme helps teams turn AI from a set of ad-hoc experiments into reliable, collaborative workflows. It takes a creative, human-centred approach to redesigning the way work gets done, so that AI is applied where it adds real value: improving quality, speed and consistency, without losing the expertise and judgement of the team.

Teams leave with redesigned processes, a shared library of tested prompt patterns, clear roles and guardrails, and simple ways to measure impact and continuously improve. All done by the team members themselves and not by external advisers, through a lightly facilitated and guided process.

    • Build a clear, shared understanding of where AI fits naturally into the team’s work.

    • Map current processes and redesign them using structured, creative methods.

    • Define clear roles, responsibilities and guardrails for safe and consistent use.

    • Develop and test prompt patterns that are tailored to your workflows.

    • Establish practical ways to track impact and refine workflows over time.

    • A mapped and redesigned workflow ready for immediate use.

    • A shared, team-owned prompt library and review checklist.

    • Clear accountability for every stage of AI-assisted work.

    • Measurable improvements in efficiency, quality and collaboration.

    • A confident, forward-looking team culture built around testing, learning, and adapting together.

  • This programme uses three focused interactions to support redesign, implementation and review:

    Discovery and Mapping (Half-day, virtual)

    A structured workshop to:

    • Understand the team’s work, goals and pain points.

    • Map one or two priority workflows as they currently run.

    • Identify opportunities where AI could create meaningful improvements.

Design and Build Sprint (Full-day, face-to-face)

An immersive design day where the team:

    • Redesigns priority workflows using human-centred service design principles.

    • Defines clear roles, responsibilities and guardrails for safe, consistent AI use.

    • Builds and tests a tailored prompt library with practical review patterns.

    • Establishes metrics to measure improvement and a rhythm for ongoing review.

Follow-up and Optimisation (2-hour virtual session, 6–8 weeks later)

    A practical review session to:

    • Share early results and lessons learned.

    • Refine prompts, processes and guardrails based on experience.

    • Plan the next iteration of workflow improvements.

    • Celebrate progress and sustain momentum.

  • 09:30 – Welcome and orientation

    • Aligning on goals and the value of redesigning workflows together.

09:50 – Mapping the current state

    • Visualising a priority workflow step by step.

    • Highlighting bottlenecks, handoffs, and quality risks.

    10:45 – Applying design principles

    • Using human-centred and service design thinking to approach workflow redesign.

    • Exploring creative, practical redesign options.

    11:15 – Break

    11:30 – Collaborative redesign

    • Building the “to-be” workflow with clear roles and human checkpoints.

    • Agreeing guardrails for safe, consistent, and ethical AI use.

    12:30 – Lunch

    13:15 – Prompt pattern development

    • Creating tailored, reusable prompt patterns for key tasks.

    • Testing patterns in real examples to refine for accuracy and clarity.

    14:30 – Iteration and refinement

    • Running quick test cycles and capturing team insights.

    • Documenting learnings and adjustments for rollout.

15:15 – Measuring and sustaining impact

    • Setting lightweight metrics for improvement.

    • Agreeing on team rituals for reviews and continuous optimisation.

16:00 – Commitments and action plan

    • Defining ownership and next steps.

    • Scheduling follow-up and support touchpoints.

    16:30 – Close
