delegating to Copilot
Practical Copilot training for public sector professionals
Half-day masterclass for public sector professionals already using Microsoft Copilot who want to make better decisions about what to hand to it, how far to rely on what comes back and what must remain theirs.
Getting a good answer from Copilot is only half the skill. The other half is judgement: what should you delegate to Copilot, how much should you check what it gives you and what must remain yours? These are the same questions any manager answers when handing work to someone else, and in public sector roles, where regulation and scrutiny raise the stakes, they are crucial.
This hands-on masterclass gives you a practical framework for those decisions, applied to realistic workplace scenarios and examples participants send in advance.
-
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Apply a practical framework for deciding what to delegate to Copilot based on task suitability, risk, oversight and accountability.
Challenge Copilot outputs in proportion to the risk and consequence of getting them wrong.
Decide when an output is reliable enough to use, without under-checking or over-checking.
Recognise the signals that should increase or decrease confidence in Copilot output.
Identify what must remain theirs when they delegate work to Copilot.
-
This is a practical, hands-on masterclass. Participants practise effective delegation through hands-on Copilot exercises using realistic workplace scenarios, including examples submitted in advance, and leave with a practical delegation decision framework they can apply immediately.
