present / voice of the leadership team
This programme is designed for leadership teams in public sector organisations who want to speak with one voice: clearly, consistently and confidently. It helps teams align not just what they say, but how they say it: tone, delivery, presence and impact.
Whether communicating internally, leading transformation, engaging with media or working across departments, this programme supports leadership teams in showing up as one united voice, reinforcing trust, clarity and cohesion across the organisation.
-
To help your leadership team develop a shared approach to verbal communication, so you sound like one team, not a collection of individuals.
To practise the vocal, physical and structural techniques that create clarity, confidence and consistency in spoken leadership.
To strengthen the way your leadership team shows up together, whether in meetings, briefings, media appearances or internal events.
To develop practical ways to align tone, presence and delivery across different formats and audiences, supporting transformation, change and cross-organisational work.
-
A leadership team that sounds more joined up, more confident and more consistent in how it speaks.
Clearer expectations and shared standards for how leadership is delivered verbally across the organisation.
Stronger alignment and mutual support within the team, helping leaders feel more connected and less exposed.
Practical tools and techniques that can be applied immediately to improve spoken communication, influence and impact.
Greater confidence in representing the organisation externally and internally, especially during change or transformation.

Stage 1 – GC Index profiling
Each team member completes a GC Index assessment. We use Team View to map the team’s collective energy and contribution style. This helps us understand how the team naturally operates and where communication strengths and gaps may lie.
Stage 2 – Pre-course survey
Participants complete a short survey exploring:
What they believe the leadership voice should sound like
What it currently sounds like
Where the gaps are
This shapes the training and highlights alignment challenges.
Stage 3 – Full-day face-to-face training
A practical, high-energy day focused on tone, delivery and presence. Based on the Teamshaper’s Present module, adapted for leadership teams.
Stage 4 – One-to-one coaching
Each participant receives a 55-minute coaching session to:
Reflect on their personal delivery style
Align with the team tone
Build vocal confidence
Stage 5 – Half-day face-to-face integration session
We bring the team back together to:
Rehearse key leadership messages
Practise speaking as one in different formats
Receive feedback and refine delivery
Refresh commitments and embed learning
