coaching & developing others
Full-day module within the Leadership Pathway, for leaders growing the capability of the people below them and building a pipeline of successors.
Focused on the practical skills of delegation, coaching and feedback - moving from doing the work yourself to developing people who can do it well.
-
To understand the shift from teaching to enabling, and know when to coach versus when to direct.
To identify what genuinely motivates each person you manage, not just what motivates you.
To delegate effectively - clear on task, authority, accountability and support - not just handing over work.
To coach using the GROW model, and give feedback that reinforces and redirects behaviour clearly.
