parry malm

Parry Malm is a technology entrepreneur whose career has followed a consistent thread: finding problems worth solving, then bringing together the right people and the right technology to solve them.

In 2015 he co-founded Phrasee, taking a then-novel idea - that artificial intelligence could generate and optimise marketing language better than people could - and building it into a category-defining business. As CEO he grew the company over seven years before its sale to a global private equity consortium in 2022, an outcome that created more than $100m of value for its shareholders.

He is now co-founder and CEO of Drumbeat, a B2B platform that helps sales and marketing teams produce authentic content and run coordinated outreach at scale. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Jacquard (the company formerly known as Phrasee) and as an advisor to LXA and to Scoreline.ai.

Parry holds a first-class honours degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He brings to Teamshaper's Advisory Board a builder's instinct for turning a problem into a solution, and a flat refusal to overcomplicate things. He is also learning to play ice hockey — slowly, and with no discernible natural talent.
