stakeholder engagement

Half-day masterclass for public sector professionals working with stakeholders across organisations, agencies and communities

For those who need to work with external stakeholders, partners or other organisations where priorities differ, and where progress depends on building effective working relationships.

  • By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

    • Identify the stakeholders connected to their work and understand their role and influence

    • Assess stakeholder priorities, interests and potential impact on outcomes

    • Decide where to focus attention and effort when managing multiple stakeholders

    • Plan engagement approaches that support progress and reduce friction

    • Communicate clearly and confidently when managing differing priorities or expectations

    • Apply simple tools to structure and review stakeholder engagement activity

  • This is a practical, hands-on masterclass.

Participants work through real stakeholder situations, including their own where possible. Each section introduces a simple tool or approach, followed by exercises to apply it immediately.
