leading remotely
Half-day masterclass for public sector professionals responsible for leading and managing teams working across locations or remotely
Focused on situations where team members are not always in the same place, and where leadership needs to be clear, consistent and visible at a distance.
-
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
Set clear expectations so team members understand priorities, standards and responsibilities
Lead communication so people stay informed, aligned and connected across locations
Manage performance and accountability when day-to-day visibility is reduced
Build trust and maintain working relationships without regular face-to-face contact
Support and guide team members while maintaining clarity, direction and consistency
Adapt leadership style to different individuals and remote working patterns
-
This is a practical, hands-on masterclass focused on day-to-day leadership.
Participants work through realistic situations such as setting direction, managing performance, giving feedback and keeping teams connected when not co-located. Each section introduces a simple approach, followed by exercises to apply it immediately.
We focus on how leadership shows up in everyday interactions, and how small changes in communication and behaviour improve clarity, trust and consistency across a team.
